As much as the idea of learning how to build residual income online was intriguing to me, I have to admit I did take a bit of an apprehensive approach.
But I just have to tell you... that's what held me back. I mean, if it wasn't for witnessing my daughter's success, I might not have ventured into it at all!
But fear is a tremendous motivator...
I just had to tell myself, "What choice do you REALLY have when you've worked your whole life living paycheck to paycheck, and hinging on employer's "PROMISES" of a matching 401K that NEVER fulfills the promise, and now I'm stuck at the same dead-end job with no promise for the future at MY age?"
But I have to be clear here, building residual income online not a "get rich quick" scheme, although those who make it in this business achieve success much faster than getting a doctorate degree and finding a successful job as a PhD or MD.
My daughter is now making over $20,000 a month and living the life of her dreams.
But she worked this thing FULL-TIME for about a year to get it to that point.
And me, I'm working it part-time and finding success as well, but on a much smaller scale.
The rule of thumb when you're thinking about how to build a residual income online is the more money you invest, the less time you need to invest. And, the more time you invest, the less you need to put into the business financially.
She did both - worked two jobs for a long time and let her insurance income pay for all her marketing expenses. But you DO have to treat this as a business and really work it - It's not just a lottery ticket.

Step 1: Begin with a blog.
If you're anything like I was three years ago, you'll be say, "huh? What's a blog?".. And if you don't know, that's OK - I didn't either.
It's just your own PERSONAL website that is the "internet you" of selling. So you don't have to approach strangers or make cold calls like the days of yesteryear - just post successful stories that inspire people to become more interested in what you have to offer.
It's important to be yourself. When I first started blogging, I actually wanted to "hide" my "about me" page so people couldn't read about me! I later learned that the more people know about you, the more they come to trust you. And that's the main function of your blog to generate residual income. Once you earn the trust of your readers, they're WAY more apt to buy from you!
Step 2: Promote your blog.
If you have funds to invest in marketing, all the better. In that case, it's best to use your blog to warm up your list. Our team of online professionals has marketing lists to tap into that have proven to be successful to earn residual income online.
But if you don't, just promote your blog on as many social media sites as you can. I also write articles and point back to my blog. For SEO ranking, the idea is to get as many authority sites linking to your blog to make it popular. To rank your post on Google, all you need to do is make it popular with backlinks and make it relevant with your keywords or tags. Some of my blog posts started ranking on the first page of Google!
And here's a little secret on how to build residual income online...
You'll want to be posting stuff that people are searching for. If you go to 'AdWords.Google.com' and create a free account, you'll be able to type in your keyword phrase and see how many people are searching for that phrase online.
And, if you go to 'alexa.com', you'll find the sites with the lowest Alexa scores (the most popular sites on the web) so you can learn about the hottest new subjects.
Step 3: Follow up with your leads
Most people, need to be approached seven times (on average) before even thinking about wanting to purchase anything. Would you approach you neighbor to buy into your business deal that many times and hear that many rejections? I know I wouldn't!
That's the beauty of your automatic email response system. You can set it up with your own personal emails to out to new leads, or use our team's pre-written compulsive emails.
Either way, it main thing is to let your list get to know you as a person. When people realize that there's a real person on the other end, they feel comfortable in making that first commitment to earn residual income online.

By working backwards, you'll know EXACTLY how much traffic you need to get your leads, and how many leads you'll need to make your sales.
Professional marketers have a way of determining the "value" of each lead by taking their gross monthly income and dividing by the number of sales they get. Then, take the number of leads you get and divide by that figure.
Example: I get two sales in a month and make $150. Even though I received $125 from one and $25 from the other, my "customer value" is $75.
So if I spend $500 to get ten sales, that's a potential income of $750, giving me an estimated profit of $250.
It doesn't matter where you've been or how much education you've had - if you have the goal and the desire - you have the potential to build residual income online!
