I am now 5 weeks away from obtaining my Associate's degree in Criminal Justice! I can't believe it! I am so happy... so excited for the future... there are going to be so many new opportunities opening up for me... I can't wait!
Although I'm not done with my schooling quite yet. See, I want to become a CSI (crime scene investigator) and in order to get my certificate that will allow me to do that, I have to have a bachelor of science degree... so, I will be continuing my education.
Yes, I know... a college degree doesn't mean crap, these days. J.O.Bs are not secure like they used to be... and having your own business IS the way to go. However, this is something that interests me. I was thinking of using the education to get "certified", and then perhaps becoming a freelance csi. You don't hear too much about them... but what police department/crime lab wouldn't be able to use another set of eyes or another lab tech to solve a case?
That is my dream job... being a freelancer. :)
